Imagine trying to get your work done, but you keep getting interrupted by colleagues or pupils bringing their problems to you. (And sometimes they’re annoyingly trivial!)
You give them a ‘quick fix’ solution, and off they go…
Sometimes it’ll work.
Other times it ‘fails’ and they quickly revert back to their ‘old’ way of doing things. So you then have to rack your brains to come up with yet another solution for them!
…Does that sound familiar?
The problem is that this is puts enormous pressure on you. It’s also extremely time-consuming, exhausting and unsustainble.
I’ll be blunt: if you keep this up you’ll STOP people becoming confident and independent.
Research shows that your work, your health and your home life could suffer too!
